(Neb.)-Chadron Public School Board To Meet Monday Night
(CHADRON)-The Chadron school board will convene Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. for their regularly scheduled meeting. On the agenda, a formal motion to terminate current current board officers and duties and allow for election of new officers for the upcoming year. Board members will be reorganizing the board, swearing in new members and electing president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Members will be discussing, considering, and taking necessary action on annual appointments, the third reading of a policy regarding exemption of high school credits, an alley right-of-way agreement with the city of Chadron, and contracts with the school superintendent and school business manager.
Superintendent Caroline Winchester will present her report, which will include a facilities update as well as goals regarding saving district dollars, expense challenges, and legislative update and teleconference meeting. The board will also take a look at upcoming events and recent committee activities and is also planning a round table discussion regarding strategic planning handout finalization goals.
The meeting will take place in the school’s central office board room and is open to the public.
