(Neb.)-Chadron City Council Holds First Meeting Of New Year
(Chadron)-The Chadron City Council will hold their first meeting of the new year Monday evening at City Hall in the Council Chambers.
Items on the agenda that will be looked at include, introducing Bryan Grant as a new Street Department employee. The council will discuss and vote on whether to change requirements for installation of sidewalks and will schedule a special city council workshop to discuss various projects. The board will also go over proclamations for January 16th as Religious Freedom Day and January 21st as Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Donna Gimeson will ask for a letter of support for a grant for the Consuming Fire School of Dance. The board will also consider renewing an agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads for maintaining US Hwy 20 and 385.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and open is to the public. An agenda for this meeting is available upon request at the City Clerks office.
