RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The Rapid City council has declined action against an alderman who was the subject of a City Attorney's Office investigation.
The council agreed Thursday do nothing further against Ward 1 Alderman Bill Clayton.
The council made the decision after meeting for about two hours in executive session.
The investigation was prompted by at least two complaints filed against Clayton. One complaint alleged that Clayton had verbally assaulted Ward 1 Alderwoman Charity Doyle. Details of the second complaint were not made public.
