(Chadron)-After a two day man hunt the Dawes County Sheriffs department has apprehended a man wanted in three other states on charges of felony theft and fraud.
Dawes County Sheriff Karl Dailey told KCSR News that around 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday that Pearce was captured under a pile of hay near the Bethel Road area south of Whitney.
Daily said that night time conditions led to the search being halted on Monday and Tuesday nights, but a new approach on Wednesday morning helped get a leg up in the search.
Pearce was wanted in Utah and Nevada along with one other state.
