By: Chris Fankhauser Posted at: 12/11/2012 09:05 AM
(Chadron)-Dawes County Sheriff Karl Dailey said officials are still searching for a man wanted on several warrants from Utah. Justin Pierce, aka Justin Beck, fled his home on West Ash Creek Road on Monday afternoon as deputies were attempting to serve warrants for felony theft and fraud.
Pierce is 6’1 and 160 pounds. Dailey reiterated that Pierce is not considered dangerous, and has exhibited NO violent tendencies. However, Dailey said people’s personal property may be compromised as Pierce is trying to get out of the area. On Tuesday morning, Dailey stated he was confident that law enforcement would find Pierce during the day. He said they would either find him as a victim of the cold, hiding somewhere, or it is possible he found a vehicle and is no longer in the area.
Dailey is trying to get a picture of Pierce so area residents can be on the lookout. If a picture is obtained, we will post that on chadrad.com. Anyone with any information can call the Dawes County Sheriff’s Office at 432-3025.
