(Neb.)-Rushville Cell Phone Tower Finally Going Up
(Rushville)-Approximately one year ago, voters in Rushville said they did not want a cell phone tower near their community. Now, Viaero has found a way to make that possible. Chris Heiser, who is not only the mayor but a representative with Viaero, said today (Wednesday) that a tower is being constructed on commercial property within the community itself.
Heiser stated this will be a 4G tower, and will possibly reach up to 10 miles. The tower, once completed, will be a 150 foot structure just across the street from Sides and Milburn, which is where the Viaero office is located in the community. He said this will be a great thing for residents as not only will it improve the signal for the company in Rushville, but it is offering the 4G service, which has not been available in the Panhandle as of yet.
Although the tower may be completed even by the end of the day, Heiser is not sure when it will be turned on. He did say it will not be very long, and possibly only a month at the longest. If anyone has any questions regarding the tower or Viaero service, Heiser invites them to come visit with him in Rushville.
