(S.D.)-Grass Fire Threatens Structures Near Rapid City
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say a malfunctioning vehicle likely sparked a weekend wildfire that scorched 81 acres of land and threatened a handful of structures southeast of the Rapid City airport.
Rapid Valley Assistant Fire Chief Casey Warren says the Sunday fire burned only grass, but one person was evacuated as a precaution.
