(Neb.)-Chadron Public Schools' School Board Meeting Monday Night
(CHADRON)-The ChadronPublic School is holding its regularly scheduled school board meeting this evening (Monday) at 5:30 p.m. in the Central Office Board Room. On the agenda, recognition of two national merit semifinalists, Lane Chasek and Abigail McFee. Also, Greta Welch as a Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholar. Commendations also go out to those volunteers who assisted or painted the home football bleachers. New business will include discussion and necessary action on the first reading of a policy involving ceremonies, observations, and the pledge of allegiance. Also on an iPad acceptable use policy and an advanced ed district-wide accreditation application. Dr. Caroline Winchester will give her superintendent’s report, which will include information from the TEEOSA and Early Childhood hearing in September, expanding curriculum opportunities through collaboration, expense challenges, and a visit by the governor, commissioner, and Senator Greg Adams at the end of the month. The board will also discuss the development of an alley north of Kenwood and any strategic planning committee reports and updates. A full agenda can be accessed at the school’s central office.
