(S.D.)-Candlelight Vigil Held For Missing Hot Springs Woman
By: Roxie Graham-Marski Posted at: 10/05/2012 09:56 AM HOT SPRINGS, S.D. (ASSOCIATED PRESS) - Residents of the southwest South Dakota city of Hot Springs gathered on the one-year anniversary of a woman's disappearance to remember her.
Catherine Tornquist has not been seen since Oct. 4, 2011. Her 26-year-old son, Matthew Tornquist, is accused of killing her. He has pleaded not guilty.
Members of the community got together Thursday night for a candlelight vigil in a local park. Organizer Jacki Lockwood says that people who knew Catherine Tornquist are seeking closure.
