(CHADRON)-The Chadron city council officially welcomed new city manager Wayne Anderson to his post at their meeting Monday night. Anderson said his first week was long and full, but quite enjoyable, too.

Anderson says the rest of the week was not as busy. He said there’s a lot to learn in his new position, and he’s excited for all the possibilities the future holds.

Anderson said some things are going to stay the same at City Hall, such as Vastine’s open door policy, and other things will keep improving over time.
