 (Neb.)-Farewell Dinner To Be Held For Vastine
(Chadron)-With new Chadron City Manager Wayne Anderson officially in his office, it is time once again for Interim City Manager Ted Vastine to resume his retirement. However, the City employees aren’t letting him off the hook just yet.
A recognition dinner will be held on Wednesday, August 29, at Angela’s Eatery in Chadron, and the public is invited to attend, to give Vastine a “rousing sendoff.” The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30, and a dutch treat dinner at 6 pm.
Anyone wishing to attend the dinner, and recognize Vastine for his service to the community, is asked to call City Hall at 432-0505 by 5 pm on August 24 so a head count can be taken.
