(Neb.)-Sheridan County Commissioners to Meet Monday, August 20th

(SHERIDAN COUNTY)-The Sheridan County Commissioners will meet on Monday, August 20th in the Commissioners Room of the Sheridan County Courthouse, 301 East 2nd Street in Rushville. The commissioners will consider a resolution to transfer monies from the Inheritance Fund to Building and Grounds. This transfer was included in the 2011-2012 budget for repairs to the front steps of the courthouse; however, the money was not needed prior to June 31st, so the transfer did not occur.
Other agenda items will include consideration of tax authorization for political subdivisions, the review of claims, and signing of checks. At 9:30 a.m., Highway Superintendent Tom Kuester will be on hand to present information regarding road department issues, followed by public comments. The meeting is open to the public and visitors are always welcome.
