(ALLIANCE)-Alliance High School graduate in 2011 Shelby Henson was killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday around 3:30 a.m, five miles south of Alliance on U.S. Highway 385.  

The Nebraska State Patrol reports that the 19-year-old Henson was with her son, who survived the crash. 

Henson was traveling northbound when the 2001 Grand Am left the roadway on the west side of the highway. The car rolled and Henson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, and the vehicle came to rest on top of her.
