SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) - A South Dakota man is being held without bond on two counts of assault after allegedly threatening to shoot people in the Spearfish Walmart store where he worked.

Twnty-six-year-old Elliot Bintliff of Spearfish was arrested Monday. He made his first court appearance Tuesday, when Circuit Judge Warren Johnson refused to set bail.

Bintliff works at Walmart as a shelf stocker. According to court papers, he told another employee he wanted to go through the store shooting people. Another employee said Bintliff bought a black mask and combat suit that holds ammo.

Lawrence County State's Attorney John Fitzgerald says several firearms were seized from Bintliff's home.
