(Neb.)-Warm Weather Records Set In July  Listen

By: Chris Fankhauser Posted at: 08/02/2012 02:33 PM

(Chadron)-Although cooler weather is on the way at least one day over the coming weekend, temperatures will be heating up again, which is nothing new to those in the KCSR/KBPY listening area. Chris Fankhauser says that the records set during the month of July compare with another time in history.  John Griffith with the National Weather Service in Cheyenne said that the trends now are not an indicator of what’s to come. For example, last fall there was quite a bit of snow, making people wonder if it would be a wet spring, which people now know was not the case.
