(CHADRON)-With mop-up operations pretty much wrapped up after the Ash Creek Fire blazed through the area last week, Sheriff Karl Dailey says that East Ash Creek Road is now open again to through traffic. There are still signs in the area that indicate the road is still closed, but Dailey says they can be disregarded. Crews will be by to pick up the signs soon.
