(Neb.)-Man Involved In Auto Accident Succumbs To Injuries

By: Chris Fankhauser Posted at: 07/26/2012 10:23 AM

(Chadron)-The family of 35-year-old Anthony Muenchau announced earlier this morning (Thursday) that he had succumbed to his injuries from the July 23 automobile accident and passed away on Wednesday evening.

The accident occurred just west of Chadron near Littrell Construction when Muenchau sideswiped two vehicles, driven by Doug and Sue Pavlick of Chadron. The Pavlicks and their son, Kenny, were uninjured.

Muenchau received severe brain injuries, and unfortunately was not able to recover. The Stereo AM 610 KCSR and KBPY families extend their condolences to the family. Although the Nebraska State Patrol had initially stated it was possible alcohol played a factor in the accident, it is now believed that Muenchau was trying to get a view of the Ash Creek Fire when he veered left of center.
