(Neb.)-Fire Crews Have Surplus Of Gatorade And Water Thanks To Community
By: Roxie Graham-Marski Posted at: 07/25/2012 09:38 AM
(CHADRON)-KCSR has heard from Cory Brennan, who is the wife of Chadron firefighter Mark Brennan. She had called earlier in the week to request Gatorade and water for the fire crews, since they were running low. She has since e-mailed to say that “Thanks to our wonderful community, we have a stock pile. Boy Scout troop 64 has worked two days and brought in about six pick-up loads, Tommy’s Car Lot has brought in pick-up loads, and many citizens have dropped stuff off. We have already donated to Crawford, Hemingford and Hay Springs too! So can you ask that people stop bringing in water and Gatorade. We are so grateful for everything!!!! Every time someone pulled up, I got goose bumps. It just shows that people do really care and are thankful."
