(CHADRON)-The Chadron city council is holding a special meeting tonight (Monday) at City Hall council chambers, 234 Main St., to further discuss the city manager hiring process. Members are expected to make a decision as to which candidate they feel will be the best fit for the city. Each member of the council initially chose the same two candidates out of the 36 who had applied for the position the second time around. Those candidates, Barry Cook of Green River, Wyo., and Wayne Anderson from Chadron, were interviewed by the council last Monday evening. The meeting tonight will begin at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
