(Neb.)-Highway Work To Restrict Traffic Flow In Panhandle

     SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska officials say pavement work could restrict traffic on U.S. Highway 26 and Nebraska Highway 71 in Scotts Bluff County.
 
     The Nebraska Roads Department says work is scheduled to begin next week on a stretch of U.S. Highway 26 that runs through the north side of Scottsbluff. Work also will begin on the Gering bypass of Nebraska Highway 71.
 
     Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
 
     The work is expected to be finished by October.
