(Edgemont, South Dakota)-Authorities say a forest fire near Edgemont is 10 percent contained.
The White Draw Fire has burned 3,000 acres of grass and timber since Friday.
Officials say rains on Saturday stopped the advance of the fire, but Sunday's forecast of warm temperatures, low humidity and high winds is not favorable.
Residents of five homes near Edgemont were given voluntary evacuation notices Saturday.
Firefighters are battling the blaze with the help of helicopters and an air tanker.
