(Neb.)-Forage Management Working Lunch In Rushville, July 2nd

(RUSHVILLE)-The Sheridan County UNL Extension office in conjunction with the USDA-Farm Service Agency and USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service will be presenting timely information to the community in response to the lack of area forage due to drought. Topics will include: Stretching Your Grass, Managing on a Forage Year Basis, Financial Options, Grazingland Pests and Drought, Haying and Grazing of CRP Acres, and Records to Keep During a Drought.
The informational session will take place Monday, July 2nd from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and lunch is being provided to participants by area financial institutions. The session will take place in the Parkview Lodge Assisted Living building in Rushville, in the Blanch Sandoz Meeting Room. Participants are asked to use the parking lot in front of the Rushville Medical Clinic. Upon entering the Parkview Lodge, signs will direct people to the meeting room.
