 (Neb.)-Hazy Air Is Most Likely From Fire, But Not A Local One
(CHADRON)-911 supervisor Tony Serbousek said the Chadron Police Department has been receiving several phone calls from concerned citizens asking if there is a fire burning somewhere nearby, as the air is hanging thick and hazy on the horizon. Serbousek wishes to assure citizens there are no fires in our immediate area at this time. He said the haze is most likely just a result of fires that have been burning elsewhere in the region, such as those in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Colorado.
