(Neb.)- Fires Burn Northeast Of Chadron Friday Night

(Chadron)-Fire crews were on two fires burning northeast of Chadron Friday evening.

The lighting caused fires were near Slim Buttes Road, we believe about five to six miles northeast of town.

Flames were visible from near Chadron according to our crews covering the fires.

Chadron is being assisted by Crawford units.

Slim Buttes Road has been closed at Beaver Valley Road.

We will have more as information becomes avaliable.
