(PENNINGTON COUNTY, S.D.)-Officials from Pennington County and the communities of Keystone and Hill City will be hosting informational meetings open to the public next week in Keystone and Hill City related to the county’s fire danger associated with the Mountain Pine Beetle-affected areas of the Black Hills.

            Several local and county officials will be giving short presentations on fire danger and behavior, law enforcement response to evacuations, emergency preparedness, the Pennington County reimbursement program and other topics specific to each community. The presentations should last approximately 30 minutes, leaving the last half an hour for citizen comments, questions, and dialogue.

            Meeting locations, dates, and times are as follows:

--Monday, June 25th    5:30-6:30 p.m.             Keystone Community Center
