 (Neb.)-Trunk Butte Christian School Sponsors Family Fun Day

(CHADRON)-The Trunk Butte Christian School hosted a Family Fun Day on Sunday, June 10th. The event featured a rummage sale, silent auction and barbeque with live music and outside games for the children. A regular auction followed later in the afternoon, which included quilts, a snowblower, furniture, and services from several area businesses. The school also raffled off tickets for chances to win a lawn mower, laptop, and flat screen among other things.
The Trunk Butte Christian School is a private Christian school in the making and is located approximately six miles west of Chadron on Highway 20. The school will offer education to grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Proponents of the new school meet every Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Bean Broker. Anyone is welcome to attend.
