(Neb.) - Man killed by train in Scottsbluff

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) - Scottsbluff police are trying to identify a man who died when he was struck by a train.
    
Police say the man was hit early Friday by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe coal train. The man wasn't carrying any identification and police are hoping someone will call with information.
    
Authorities say the man was lying on the tracks when the train hit him about 3 a.m.
