(Neb.) - Watson's Pine Ridge Sketches Expected to be Released in Late June

Local artist Kit Watson’s book Pine Ridge Sketches should roll off the press in late June. The
book brings together over 150 of her pen and ink calendar drawings and narratives illustrating
the history, humor, reality and magic of Pine Ridge Country.

As a part of First National Bank of Chadron’s 125th celebration, this limited edition book will be
offered at a discounted price of $15 to bank customers and patrons. The book can be reserved
at First National in downtown Chadron beginning June 6th and is expected to be available for a
book signing by Watson at the bank on June 28th. Pine Ridge Sketches will be offered for sale at
$20 to the general public on July 2nd with book sales and signings at the Old West Trails Rodeo
parade and Fur Trade Days parade.
