(S.D.) - Filmmaker holding casting call in Black Hills

HILL CITY, S.D. (AP) - Black Hills filmmaker Sean Covel, who was a producer on the "Napoleon Dynamite" film, is planning to shoot his next film in South Dakota and will be casting for it Saturday.
    
Covel says he will begin filming "Matt Epic" the second week of June in the Black Hills. The comedy is based on a series of true stories centered on a wedding.
    
Covel is looking to cast 55 speaking roles and more than 400 extras during a casting call Saturday and Sunday at Chute Roosters in Hill City. The casting call takes place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
