 (Neb.)-Whitney Bridge Set for Construction Feb. 15
Bridge work will begin on Highway S23A at the west edge of Whitney on February 15, 2010. Reiman Corporation is the contractor for this project.
This work will be completed in two phases and the lanes will be reduced to 10 feet during both phases of work. The work consists of pavement repair to the deck and new paving sections at each end of the bridge.
The work should be completed by late March or early April
The Nebraska Department of Roads and Reiman Corp. urges all drivers to use caution while driving through the work zone and to remember that fines are doubled in a work zone.
