Funeral services for Martha Ann Keim of Chadron, Nebraska will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel with Leroy Sandford, Virginia Kleeb, and Doug Ogden officiating. 
 
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. 
 
A memorial has been established for the Chadron Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Martha was born on July 12, 1927 in Chadron, Nebraska. She attended Beaver Valley School in rural Sheridan County through the 8th grade. She attended the Assumption Academy through her high school years and graduated in 1945. Martha married Franklin H. Keim on October 16, 1948 in Alliance, Nebraska. To this union were born seven children. The couple farmed and ranched in the Chadron area from north of Crawford to southeast of Chadron to North of Hay Springs to semi-retirement in a nice house in Chadron, Nebraska. Martha enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, embroidery, cooking and her grandchildren.

Husband: Franklin H. Keim of Chadron, NE.
 
Sister: Agnes Marie Burgess of Hot Springs, SD.
 
Children: Loren Ray (Mary Alice) Keim of Palmyra, NY; Beverly Ann (Larry) Wilhoit of Scottsbluff, NE; Juanita Rose (David) Hottell of Kimball, NE; Franklin Harvey (Deb) Keim of Tecumseh, NE; Bruce Allen Keim (Keith Currier) of San Francisco, CA.
 
Son-in-law: Jim Jackson of Hay Springs, NE.
 
Grandchildren: 15
Great Grandchildren: 31
 
Numerous special-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
 
Martha was preceded in death by her two children, Larry Lee Keim and Leanna Sue Jackson; two brothers Leo and Richard Gochnauer; five sisters Marguerite Woods, Lorretta Maples, Mercedes Dexter, Jeanette Chasek, and Bernyce Shaeffer.
 
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
