Funeral services for Leonard Chubb, age 64, of Crawford, will be Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Crawford Community Building with Pastor Lee Eads and Pastor Steve Mallery officiating.
Burial with Military Honors will be at the Crawford Cemetery.

Leonard was born July 23, 1949 in Chadron, Nebraska to Cecil Warren Chubb and Edith Inez (Pelren) Chubb.
Leonard passed away Saturday, November 23rd in Crawford after a battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family.
Leonard spent his entire life in Crawford except for a time in the Army and drilling in Wyoming.
He graduated Crawford High School in 1967 then went to the Army, serving as a helicopter crew chief in Viet Nam where he served two tours.
When he returned home he went into the water well drilling business with his father. He continued in the business right up to the time of his death. He was the third generation driller and trained his son Skip who now is carrying on as the fourth.
Leonard was at his best when working on and operating the steam tractor passed down from his grandfather. He enjoyed attending steam shows throughout the country. Many of these he went to on his Harley which was another of his joys. He owned several in his life and rode many miles, one time going as far as Alaska.
Leonard married Becky Hamaker on October 8th, 1982.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Edith.
Children: Skip (Mandy) of Crawford, Jody (Chase) Motz of Casper, WY, Brad (Amanda) of Imperial, NE
Grandchildren, Jade, Braxton, Adler, and Campbell
Siblings: Jewell (Mike) Hissam of Douglas, WY; Bob (Jen) of Lander WY; Peggy Chubb of Sunnyvale CA.
Leonard will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His passing is a great loss.
