Funeral services for Seth Ambrose Bissonette, age 70 of Sisseton, SD, will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson, SD, with Rev. John Two Bulls and Rev. Pedro Sharpfish officiating.
 
Burial will be at St. Phillip’s Episcopal Cemetery, Manderson, SD.
 
A one-night wake service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2013, at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson, SD.
 
Seth passed away August 19, 2013, in Sisseton, SD. Seth Ambrose Bissonette was born on December 17, 1942, to Eddie Bissonette and Angeline Brave in Pine Ridge, SD. Seth attended the #10 Day School North of Manderson, SD, then attended the Oglala Community High School. Seth was a very hard working man, working as a ranch hand for Jack Louis and Henry Keester, a farm laborer in Lingle, WY, mechanic, and worked for Manderson Electronics. While working at these jobs, Seth also made yarn picture frames and broke horses for people in the community.    Seth loved to ride horseback and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

Sons: Alton Little Soldier-Belt of Rapid City, SD; Seth Bissonette, Jr. of Pueblo, CO; Eddy (Marge) Bissonette of Sisseton, SD; Eugene Bissonette of Sisseton, SD; Curtis (Shanda) Bissonette of Sisseton, SD; and Mason Bissonette of Sisseton, SD.
 
Daughters: Susie (Lance) DeMarrias of Sisseton, SD; Tressa Bissonette of Bemidji, MN; Jolene Bissonette of Sisseton, SD; Tonia Bissonette of Walker, MN; and Faith Bissonette of Cass Lake, MN.
 
Brothers: Rudy Bissonette of Manderson, SD; and Roger Bissonette of Rapid City, SD.
 
Sister: Wilma Campbell of Rapid City, SD.
 
Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren
 
Seth was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Angeline (Brave) Bissonette; sons, John Paul Bissonette and Richard Edwin Bissonette; sisters, Pearl Corbet and Elfreda Twiss; and adopted brother, Aloysius Black Tail Deer.
 
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD, is in charge of arrangements.
