Funeral services for Beryl Brunsch, age 74, of Martin, SD will be Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church with Reverend Craig West officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church in Martin, SD.
Public Viewing will be Thursday, August 23, 2012 from Noon- 2:00 PM.
Burial will be at the Martin Community Cemetery in Martin SD.

Beryl William Brunsch age 74 was born to Paul and Lucille Brunsch at Rosebud, SD. Beryl William Brunsch age 74, of Martin, SD, died Sunday August 19, 2012 at the Ft. Meade VA Medical Center. Beryl was born May 30, 1938 at Rosebud, SD. He was the son of Paul and Lucille Peck/Brunsch.
He grew up on his parents ranch 9 miles NW of Norris, SD. He attended a one-room county school from the first to the eighth grade. Then he attended hi-school in Belvidere, SD, and the Ag School in Brookings, SD. After Hi-School he served in the US Marine Corp. from February 1958-1960. He was a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
Beryl married Bonnie Walker in 1961 and to this union two daughters, Lori born in 1962 and Michelle born in 1967.
Beryl’s life long interests were trucking, ranching, and roping. He was a dedicated member of the Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori Cordell of Alliance, NE, his mother Lucille Brunsch of Norris, SD, one brother, Jim Brunsch of Buck Eye, AZ, and four sisters, Nancy Kehn of Batesland, SD, Carol Anderson of Corn Creek, SD, Jane Rutherford of Rapid City, SD, and Cindy Coon of Martin, SD. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Brunsch/Washburn, his father, Paul Brunsch, his brother, Jack Brunsch, and his niece, Angie Amiotte.
