02/03/2013 - Veterinary Science Workshop
A Veterinary Science Workshop will be offered on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the UNL Extension Sheridan County Office from 1-4:00 PM. The Vet Science Level 1 manual “The Normal Animal” will be used. 4-H Jr Leaders will be covering chapters in the manual and leading activities focusing on learning how to tell when an animal is sick. A practicing veterinarian will talk about their job duties, and participants will be able to research a topic and work on a vet science poster to enter at fair.
