03/09/2018 - Congressional Art Competition Deadline
Congressman Adrian Smith is inviting Third District high school students to submit their artwork for the 2018 Congressional Art Competition by Friday, March 9. The Congressional Art Competition is a great opportunity for young artists in the Third District to put their talents on display for visitors from across the country and around the world. Each year, Smith says he looks forward to showcasing students' work and sharing their depictions of the Good Life we enjoy in Nebraska.
The Nebraska Art Teachers Association is working to coordinate the competition. Official rules, guidelines, and submission forms are available by clicking here. The first-place artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol alongside winning entries from across the country. Runners-up will be displayed in Smith’s Washington D.C. and Third District offices.
